Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your NanoMCRS subscription at any time through your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription will end at the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain access to Pro/Analyst features through the end of your paid period
  • You will revert to the Free plan after the billing period ends
  • No refund will be issued for the current billing period

2. Refund Policy

NanoMCRS generally does not issue refunds for subscription payments. However, refunds may be available in the following circumstances:

Eligible for Refund

  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Payment made without proper authorization
  • Service unavailability for extended periods (7+ days)
  • Technical errors resulting in incorrect charges

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Subscription accessed for any portion of the billing period
  • Changes of mind or change in business needs
  • User satisfaction with the service quality
  • Charges that were authorized by the account holder
  • Subscription renewals after the initial purchase

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, please contact our support team within 30 days of the charge:

  1. Visit our contact page and submit a refund request
  2. Include your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request
  3. We will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed to your original payment method

4. Refund Timeline

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Request Review: 5-7 business days
  • Payment Processing: 5-10 business days (depends on your bank)
  • Total Timeline: 10-17 business days from request to credit

Bank processing times vary by financial institution. Please check with your bank if a refund hasn't appeared within 10 business days.

5. Payment Method Reversals

All refunds will be returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. If the original payment method is no longer available, refunds may be processed to an alternate method at our discretion.

6. Chargeback Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute through your financial institution instead of requesting a refund directly from us:

  • Your account may be flagged for fraud review
  • Your account access may be suspended
  • Chargeback fees may be passed to your account
  • You may be unable to re-subscribe

We strongly recommend contacting us directly for any billing disputes before initiating chargebacks.

7. Upgrade and Downgrade

Upgrades and downgrades between plans are processed immediately:

  • Your next billing date remains the same
  • The new plan takes effect immediately
  • Pricing is prorated for the current billing period if applicable

No refunds are issued for downgrading to a lower-priced plan.

8. Free Trial

If NanoMCRS offers a free trial period:

  • You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged
  • No refunds are issued for charges incurred after the trial period
  • Cancellation can be done anytime during the trial period

9. Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscription plans:

  • Cancellation is effective at the end of the annual term
  • No refunds are issued for partial annual periods
  • Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase for billing errors only

10. Changes to Refund Policy

NanoMCRS reserves the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of NanoMCRS after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
